JBL Environmental Ltd is based in Blenheim New Zealand. The company was formed in 2005 from the staff of JBL Environmental Services, established in 1997.

JBL Environmental Ltd specializes in the collection and disposal of Hazardous
Materials including Hazardous Waste, and has gained recognition for
this
work throughout New Zealand.

JBL Environmental Ltd clears material directly from your site and organises
all operations to final disposal.
JBL is also involved with waste stream analysis studies (SWAP) and industrial
processes, with the view to minimizing inputs and maximizing use of materials.

Agrichemical Collection Programme:
JBL is currently contracted to the 3R Group to undertake Agrichemicals Collections throughout the South Island under the Agrecovery scheme.
In recent years, JBL has completed Agrichemicals collections in Marlborough, Otago, Southland, Westcoast and Tasman Districts.

Servicing of Transfer Stations and Landfills:
This involves ongoing work to remove hazardous wastes and other materials
not suitable for direct land filling. This includes finding suitable
disposal or processing of wastes to allow disposal to landfill.
JBL currently services Marlborough, Nelson, Kaikoura, Tasman and the
West Coast regions.

Mobile Hazardous Waste Collections:
This is a mobile collection service, which allows the public to bring
household hazardous waste to a central public collection area.
JBL has been involved in mobile hazardous waste collections in the Auckland,
Wellington, Canterbury and West Coast regions. Further proposals are
being investigated for the Tasman and Nelson regions.

Schools, Hospitals and the Private Business Sector:
JBL calls on site to deal with difficult situations where customers do not have the ability to handle hazardous materials. Our service includes identification, sorting, packing and shipment of Hazardous materials.

Private sector customers requiring disposal of hazardous waste streams
often seek advice on disposal. JBL can work on behalf of other parties
to advise on correct disposal or arrange collection and disposal.

SWAP Studies:
Solid Waste Analysis Protocol (SWAP) – Waste stream analysis studies undertaken by JBL for the Marlborough and West Coast Councils. JBL have completed thirteen surveys to date.

John has had 20 years experience in Waste Management and holds current Certificates for handling all classes of Hazardous Goods.
Mike Mackie
Field Engineer
Mike has had 15 years experience with paints and 4 years experience in the handling of Dangerous Goods. He holds current Certificates for handling most Hazardous Goods.
Sallie Larcombe
Business Manager
Sallie has had 25 years experience in Business Administration with background training in Accounting, Taxation, Marketing and Small Business Management.
